Got my latest issue today, I'm always impressed with the quality of this magazine! If you haven't already subscribed, shame! :p

While I'm finding the quality of most magainzes going down the drain, I'm always impressed with VegNews. They're good stuff!

Love it.
I'm a happy subscriber.
Best veg mag out there, by far.

I have been slacking. I received a free issue like 3 months ago and still haven't read it.

I subscribe to VegNews and I will probably let my subscription run out.

The last few issues have been dominated with restaurant reviews, recipes, and processed food reviews. It is similar to what bored me about the Vegetarian Times.

Some of the other content, like the columns are very interesting, but they are also very short and represent only a small part of the content.

I love VegNews too. Read it straight through when it comes and then get mad 'cause I have to wait another whole couple of months before the new one comes!

I didn't feel like subscribing to an unfamiliar magazine, so I requested a free sample issue to look over first.

I think VegNews is a wonderful magazine. It seems to get better with each issue.

I do enjoy VegNews, and I love the redesign, but I'm with Steve to a certain degree. While I don't think it's going the VT route at all, the last couple issues feel... "fluffier" to me than I remember VN ever being. I blew through this new issue so fast, I wondered where the meat of the magazine went. There really isn't much of a substantial core to it, at least this time.

I think magazines have it hard in that new interesting things to report on for a speciality subject may not be there to be reported on every issue.

It seems like many magazines, despite the focus, are starting to look like each other.

Well, the articles aren't very long. I kind of like that though. The magazine is interesting, easy to read, it's colorful, and I think it's important that we support publications like this.

I do wish they'd have some articles on animal issues but that can be a touchy subject.

Would be nice if they'd do an article on online communities. ;)

I am bringing the free issue I received to work today. I took a peek inside and I am already impressed and excited. I will be subscribing to this magazine. I was browsing through and I saw a brownie recipe that had dairy free white chocolate chips and some type of chocolate syrup on top of it. My free issue is the "veggie awards 2004" issue.

Sounds like a damn good idea to me. You should contact them. They're pretty approachable.

I subscribed to The Animal's Agenda a couple (three?) years ago. I rec'd three issues and then they folded. They diverted the remainder of my subscription to E! The Environmental Magazine, which is OK, I like enough for environmental/green issues, but it doesn't have the same AR focus that I liked about TAA. Oh well.

Okay, I have looked over most of it today. I love it. It is the best vegetarian magazine out by far!

If you go to their website, you can take a survey of what you like and what you don't, about the magazine. They use the results to make improvements to the mag.

FYI: I requested a free copy just three days ago and it just arrived in my mailbox today. They're fast, I'll give 'em that.

I was really surprised to see that they do actually listen to what the readers say. I have seen several things change over the last year. Some good, some not, but they do listen, which is cool.
