View Full Version : TOTALLY Embarrassing Birthday!

Okay, on Saturday I turned 18 and we all went to Katy Mills Mall to hang out and do a scavenger hunt. *Not for my birthday, for a homeschool event lol, I was helping out* Well, evidently it is against mall policy to do one, so we were all rounded up by security guards and taken back to the food court. Well, everyone decided to sit down at the Rain Forest Cafe and have something to eat, so I had a raspberry iced tea and hung out for awhile. Well, one of the ladies told the waiter it was my birthday, so they brought out this volcano cake (which I can't eat!) and yelled "VOLCANO" at the top of their lungs. To top it off, they made me get up and do the "cha cha" dance while they sang some song. I couldn't understand the song because I was laughing so hard. Evidently, there are some pictures floating around of me doing the "cha cha" dance now! Don't tell anyone when your birthday is, especially if you are going out close to the date!

My birthday was last week and it was pretty much like any other day. I can see how the cake part was awkward, but I wouldn't mind doing the cha-cha :bobo: :deal:

Now that I look back, it wasn't as embarrassing as I thought at the time. Being taken to the food court by the security guards was worse! I think the worst part about the whole birthday part was the cake that I couldn't eat, and the guy made me do the cha-cha. He actually took my hands and shook them for me because I was laughing so hard. I usually love being the center of attention, but all of a sudden all those people looking at me and singing, I just started laughing. I will see if I can get my hands on some of the cha- cha pictures to put in the album.
