dansko clog-like vegan shoe?

i'm on a shoe kick. now i'm looking for a dansko clog- (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/981681/c/86.html)esque vegan shoe. any ideas? thanks.

They do? I've never seen them on their web site--do you have any leads? I would REALLY like some Danskos for when I start my training program...and I was disappointed because I thought they were all leather.

thank you for your email and interest in dansko. i am happy to share some exciting new with you! our product development team is designing and developing a collection of stapled clogs that will be made entirely of non-leather materials. the particular styles that will be leather free are professional felt (except for the plaid) & professional embroidered. unfortunately, i can not verify that they are vegan society approved however; i can tell you that the styles previously mentioned are leather-free. i do apologize for any inconvenience.

this new line of women’s clogs will still feature our polyurethane outsole which provides shock absorption and flexibility; it will still have the rocker bottom that propels the foot forward when walking; and protects feet, legs and back during long hours of standing and/or walking.

this new line of clogs will feature:
felt uppers
soft, microfiber lining
moisture-wicking microfiber socklining
synthetic binding

they should be available at your local dansko retailers around fall 2005. i hope this information is helpful. please reply to this email if you have any questions and i would be happy to assist you. thank you.

Most likely the leather-free Dansko clogs won't be vegan.
Other companies that use felt, use a wool-based felt. But
it's worth emailing the company once again.
