10.5 mile run this morning. It was my last long run before the LA marathon next Sunday. People in my pace group were very excited. :) I've ran other marathons but for some reason LA is always the most exciting.
(maybe it is the 20,000 other people running it with you or the commercials on tv).

My car has been in the shop, so today I braved the cold and road my bike I think about seven or ten miles to work.
I have to say that while I normally bike in the mornings, I do not bike far enough to get the best benifit out of it. I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO very calm, and laid back today...and happy, I knew this was the chemical reaction in my brain. I used to love this about san francisco bike delivery people, that you could tell just from looking at these guys and gals how very calm and laid back they were. That's how I felt today. Going to have to find a way to get more morning biking in. Next year my daughter and I can ride to school together sometimes as we will be at the same school.
But today was NEAT.

Hamsters of the World Unite!
Back to yoga tonight after a hiatus [I went to see a play last night instead.] Boy did I ever miss it. The old brain just did not function as well as I would have liked. I'll check in tomorrow to see how I respond to tonight's class.

I found myself laying in bed *right* on that line of do it/don't do it...and...I did it. If I had hesitated for even a second longer, I would have stayed in bed 'til 6:30 or so. But alas...
Got up. Running by 5:25. 5 Miles. Averaged 10-min. miles the first half; sort of slacked on the run back (I was sooo hungry!). Did lower-body work today.
Tomorrow I'm to be at work at 7 A.M. so...I can either wake at 4:30-ish  ...or do (less) cardio over lunch...gaaaah. I'll report back in tomorrow (like anyone cares).
:nigel: HaHa.

55 minute run. i'm not sure how fast my miles were. I'm hoping 8:30-9:00 minute miles, but that's being optimistic. I run a lot slower when I run alone.

Tuesday I walked to and from school (I think) so about 50 minutes of walking, and I did some 5 lb weight lifting.
Yesterday I walked part way to school (My mom dropped me off about 20 minutes away on her way to work, haha) so I got a good 20 minute walk.
After school I went to the Gym and went on the Eliptical machine for 30 minutes, and then the Treadmill for another 30 minutes.
I did some 5lb weight at home too.
Today I walked part way to school (15 minutes) and walked home (30 minutes).

Saturday I had my regular 2-hour dance practice
Sunday, I worked the video camera for like 3 hours (so basically, a LOT of standing, and "focusing" - lol).
And this morning I did like 4 different types of sit-ups/crunches. I'm not sure the proper names, but I'm pretty sure it was kind of like pilates because it requires lotsa balance.
Feeling a bit bloated today, so I'll probably do some walking and more crunches tonight.
