We're thinking about going tomorrow but we have no idea if the food is any good, has anybody ever been there and would you recommend it?

Oh my goodness. I had the misfortune of going to this restaurant while visiting friends in San Jose a few years ago, and it was sooooo terrible! Maybe it's better now, but when we went, there were four of us and nobody was happy with their dish. My lemon "chicken" tasted like it was coated with lemon furniture polish or something.
I'm usually not so harsh on restaurants, especially when they are veg*n, but man. It was bad the one time we went.

Wow! I think we're gonna be changing plans! Thanks for the warning, it's our anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere where the food was decent.
We're not from San Jose, we're here for a week so we don't know what restaurants are good, so if anybody knows of a good one please let me know.
Thanks!

Can you take the extra miles and just drive to San Fran? Millenium is there, and it's probably the best veg restaurant in the country. It's very much worth the fourty five minute or so drive time. :)

We ended up staying at our hotel and had gnocchi for dinner. Thank you for sharing your experience at Di Lac, I would have hated to pay too much for a sucky dinner!

Thank you! We'll be here for another week or so, we went to see the redwoods and the golden gate bridge. Those redwoods are really something! They're so massive we look like little hamsters standing next to them!
