1) I read somewhere that online petitions really don't do much good...not that it isn't a nice thought, but signatures are to easy to forge/make-up/etc. Asking for donations over signatures might be a better idea...

2)I went to the site, but I might have been looking at the wrong place because I didn't see much useful information on the problem. I'm all for the end of brutal euthanization and the promotion of sterilization programs...but I didn't see any info on what exactly is happening, what they want to do to help the problem, etc. aside from the little bit of info on your post, alfie.

I feel almost silly just signing something saying "this is bad..we need to stop it" but offering no alternate solutions. If there is no money, no room, no food...granted there are more humane methods of euthanasia then electrocution and drowning..(though I didn't even see where it said they were doing that..? ) but maybe the pledge should include some suggestions.

Talk is a start, but nothing without action.
