I popped my knee at BJJ last week, and it was hurting... so not much hamstering last week... But I'm going back tommorow morning. I think its ok now.
Today was just a little bit of light free weights, crunches, and push-ups... :)

Had a very moderate dance practice yesterday, plus I did some crunches and leg work before I went to bed.
This morning I did some more crunches and leg work, and that may be it for today. :-/ I can't wait for my jazz dance class tomorrow. I feel so... blah, tho I know I don't look like it. Eh, whatever.
More positive note - I was picked to do one of the mini-featured dance solos for an Easter performance. :)
Go HAMSTERS!!

Nothing Monday
Tuesday: 50 minutes on the bike/trainer
Yesterday I took my bike for tune up. Was told on the phone it woud take one day, but told at the shop it would not be ready until Saturday. So now I am looking at 3 days with no biking at all, and I don't like the idea at all! I'm going to try to put my mountain bike on the trainer, but the knobby tires may keep it from working well.

I had an awesome bike today...though I chose some quieter streets and am still a little jumpy in traffic. But I did a hill i haven't done in a while, and it was tough.
Also I'm working on the monkey bars at school. The kids think this is a hoot. "LOOK AT MS. BETHANIE!!!" I never learned to do monkey bars when I was a kid because I was afraid of falling. So I am learning now. But yesterday I overdid it, and everything from my arms to my shoulders and down to my waste is a little bit sore. Which just goes to show you that it must be working. :)

Hehe bethanie.
My main form of exercise was at school with the kids today too. First 50 minutes of volleyball since they won't behave with the PE teacher, I went out there to play with them.
Then in the afternoon they were driving me crazy being real chatty so we went out to play freeze tag for 20 minutes. Those kids can run. I'm tired. :)
Umm. Marathon training is pretty sad at the moment. It is supposed to be peak milage week and...well...hum....

Yesterday, I had my 90 min. jazzdance class, and I'm happy to note that I feel that I'm making decent progess. :) At least this time, I was able to catch on to the final dance routine a lot quicker than usual.
Today, I just did a little ab work, and will be walking quite a bit today, more than likely. A bit of a rest day. Will resume dance practice tomorrow :)

Tomorrow I am going up to the Red Rocks park...if I had hiking boots, I'd make a day of it. However, I don't, so methinks I'm just going to get a good run in, followed by a nice, long SOUL COLONIC.
I've been pretty down this past week so I'm going to do some meditation that will hopefully result in a catharsis of the healing sort. :juggle:
:nigel: Cheers.

It has been a poo week, and I haven't really had a chance to do anything. However, I have managed 20 mins a day since I last posted, and today I spent 1 hr in the gym.
Things are kind of iffy though as I'm still waiting for my orthopaedics appointment and I am sometimes in a lot of pain. But I feel good today!
