I'm ready to try again, the veggie dogs worried me, but the new Shnieders products out have me tempted. I'm going to get a package of burgers, and fake 'bacon' and whatever I can find that isn't too expensive that i'm willing to try. Anything I end up not liking I'll feed to roomates rabid fiance. :hungry: Any other brands in Canada that are recommended? Keep in mind, they have to be available in Ontario already.

Thanks!

I think the Yves brand is Canadian and it has great "fake ground beef" stuff - just season well and mix in your favorite mexican, italian, lasagna, WHATEVER sauce....

They also make "sandwich slices" which I personally am not terribly fond of - but my NON VEG HUSBAND absolutely loves the things... go figure...

I'm in Canada too and I think the Scheiders products taste great. Their meatless meatballs are one of our family favorites. You can do a million things with them.

I prefer the Schneider's hotdogs over most of the other ones. Second best would be Yves "good" dogs.

Not crazy about the veggie bacons I've tried. Most of the sausages we've had have been good.

M & M meats makes really good veggie burgers too, if you have one of those shops in your area.
