Well, I've never watched a second of American Idol, so I don't know what all the fuss is about. If he's an AR supporter (and maybe a vegetarian?), isn't that a good thing?

From http://fan-sites.org/simon-cowell/quotes.html -
"That wasn't dreadful and it wasn't horrible. It was absolutely ghastly."

Ya I heard about this a while ago and always liked him but he got even cooler. I am not sure if he is a veggie, yet but I think maybe soon if not. He mentioned going meatless for a week or so and loving Linda McCartney sausges, and how he could start to eat more meatless meals. He is just awesome!

Simon cowell is like marmite. You either love him or hate him, and he's an acquired taste. A year ago, i'd be quite happy to tell him that he's a c**t right to his face, but lately, I've started to warm to him, and this is definitely a good thing about him.

I wish we could make a huge list on this board of the goods and rottens celebrity list? I hear all the time whos good, whos bad, who did this, but its hard to remember since so many people suprise you with their good or bad "deeds"... just a thought

There are lists like that all over the internet. The problem is that because they are lists of celebrities and other public figures, the lists can become outdated. They can also be inaccurate. I like the idea of a celebrity list on VB, a continuing one that can be updated and corrected daily instead of once every ten years or something.

Celebrities are so fickle and trend dropping/adopting, you'd have to update it by the minute.

I wasn't sure who that was at first, so I was thinking he's not much use as a spokesperson in the country, but then I realised that the younger generations who bow down to manufactured pop idols while eagerly lapping up the bowls of rancid American culture most likely know who this is.

I like Simon. But I hate Randy, so I'm just glad it's not him. Not that I watch AI . . . uhh, no.
I heard something about Jessica Simpson getting a chinchilla coat and I thought someone should send her something so she'd know what the heck a chinchilla was and maybe she'd feel bad.

Like a skinned chinchilla carcass?
Uh oh, I'm having those evil thoughts again...

Amy - ha :) A little less gross, perhaps. A skinned carcass might confuse her anyway. A step by step poster maybe.
