Seal Oil

Seal oil is sold as a supplement for Omega 3 fatty acids. It enters a market already crowded with alternatives that have been in stores for years, including flax seed oil. Regardless, some health food stores and pharmacies have chosen to market seal oil, and the following brand names may be found in some Canadian stores:

Omegavite
Terra Nova
Omegagold
Arctic Omega
Wild Sea
Omegalife

Sealskin

Sealskin is flat, coarse, heavy and difficult to turn into wearable garments. It is therefore not a widely used product in the fur industry. However, it has occasionally appeared in stores in Canada.
