I just tried Pacific brand Hazelnut "all natural, non-dairy beverage". I love it! This is positively my favorite dairy milk replacement. It's great on cereal and in my tea. I bet it makes rockin hot chocolate, too. Here's some nutrition info:
1 cup:
100 cals,
3.5g fat, 0 sat. fat
120mg sodium
2g protien
less than 1g fiber
Calcium 30% RDA
Riboflavin 30% RDA
Vitamin D2 25% RDA
I bought it because it was on sale at Wild Oats the other night.

Does it taste really nutty and rich, or is it more mild? I love almond milk, but sometimes I find it too rich.

I think it's pretty mild. It's hard for me to be completely subjective. Almond milk seems to leave me with a creamy, sweet after taste. The hazelnut milk is about as sweet as Almond Breeze Original, but not quite as creamy.

Put this with some vegan cocoa mix, heat it up, and it tastes like warm nutella... :lick: :smitten:

Oh that sounds SOOOOOO YUMMY! I ADORE HAZLENUT ANYTHING!!!
I can't find the "Pacific" brand around here... we don't have "Wild Oats" so I'm not sure what other places to try... It SOUNDS Like a West Coast sort of brand ("Pacific" and all) so I was hoping to find it in the greater Seattle area...

I found some Pacific Brand things at a Tops grocery store near me, but I think it was soup broth- definitely not the hazelnut beverage. I did try it with hot chocolate... :smitten:

Would this be good in coffee? I'm trying to find a TRUE non-dairy Hazelnut creamer that is also thick and creamy. The Silk Hazlenut creamer just isn't sweet enough for me. :(
