Stolen from another forum...
The goal is 25 centuries in 2005.
Here are the designations:
If you complete a minimum of one century you will be called Century Rider
If you complete a minimum of 7 centuries you will be called Mister Century Rider
If you complete a minimum of 14 centuries you will be called Master Century Rider
If you complete a minimum of 20 centuries you will be called Major Century Rider
If you complete a minimum of 25 centuries, you will be called Mogul Century Rider
If you complete more than 25 centuries, you will be called Master Mogul Century Rider
What is a Century? A century is a ride of 100 miles with virtually no significant breaks.
What is a significant break? Almost every century ride involves some breaks for eating, potty, etc. These are allowable. A significant break is one which usually involves an overnight sleep. Think of it this way: It is not a century if you ride 60 miles and then put your bike away and then pick it up another day to cycle 40 miles.
Are multiple centuries allowed? Yes, if you ride 200 miles, you can count two centuries. Likewise if you ride 300 miles, you can count three centuries. However, if you cycle only 275 miles, you have only two centuries.
Where will the results be posted? They'll be posted in a seperate thread.
