I'm not skinny by any means, which is fine. But my thighs are very chunky and seem too big in comparison to the rest of my body. I'm a typical pair shaped body I guess. Anyway, does anyone have any good exercises to slim them down a bit. I do tae kwon do twice a week and I'm trying to get back into jogging. I also walk a fair amount.

Cheers,

Kat

I have been taking a spin cycling class at my gym and after only a few weeks I can see the difference in my thighs! I am not exactly a bike rider kind of girl but I am really happy with the way it is working my lower body and and it is a pretty intense cardio workout too! Good luck!

Squats work. I have an exercise ball. I put it just above my butt and roll slowly down the wall and back up again. It's harder if you go slower. I've heard lunges work well too, but they seemed to bother my knees and ankles.

I just did legs yesterday in 12-10-8-6-4 raising weight increments:

seated calf raises
standing calf raises
standing kick backs
leg extentions
inner theigh seated machine
outer theigh seated machine
seated leg curls
seated leg press machine

Will be doing eliptical machine today for cardio. :hamster:
