I ran a 1/2 marathon yesterday and I placed 2nd in my age group!

It was a small race so I bet it was out of 2 although I don't know that for a fact since I can't figure out where to find the overall results.

Its a motivator anyways. This course is also my PR. I got the same exact time that I got last year in this race and it is a very hilly course. Its not a normal PR setter. I'm weird.

Yay captain! Good for you!

So I ran 3 miles in the -4 wind chill today. Ice started collecting on my eyelashes! It was pretty ridiculous.

I went skiing for about an hour and a half on Saturday. Actually, it was a pretty pathetic attempt at skiing, but I was working pretty hard. :)

I believe its 148 for 1/2 an hour of active sex, for an average 150 lb. person. :)

Hmmmm...nothing but laying more tile today, exercise class tomorrow.

Captain, that's awesome!! I've placed in small races, thank goodness for them:) Was is the Carlsbad? I was thinking about it over the weekend *sniff* I guess I was more upset about not being able to do it than I thought. I need to get moving with the next one. Someone kick me!

Dang ND, you're a tough one! It was in the negatives here too, thankfully it was not windy or we would have had bad windchills. No running in negative temps for me thanks....although it did look tempting today, all bright and sunny.

RB, skiing!!! what fun! Hey, it sounds like you got some great Hamstering in.

Go Hamsters!!!

Got into a minor car accident yesterday (some guy backed out of a drive into me) that got me all in a tizzy, and I ended up not doing the half hour of biking I was supposed to do. I did play my bass for about 3 hours, though, which allegedly burns more calories than just standing there. The bass is heavy enough that my shoulder always hurts after about an hour of bearing its weight.

Anyway, I'm going to do an hour of biking today. Indoors. I complained about it being 32 on the weekend, and now it's 18!

Haven't been posting, but I've certainly been hamstering

It's been between 3 and 5 miles of running every day, with the occasional ellipticalling, and weights...today was a 60 minute run (not sure how far, as I wasn't on the trail today) and about 5 miles of walking. Brr! Makes me happy for the time I have inside :)

Started my new training schedule yesterday; I am sore!! Later this afternoon I'm going up to the Red Rocks and going for a...run :) It's my cardio day, and I'm sure with the added elevation I'll be huffin' n puffin'...but looking forward to it! :vebo:

can't go to the gym because the baby is running a 102 fever, so I'll do a mini workout in my room while I watch American Idol! :vebo:

Elliptical on high resistance for a half hour
Lots of walking

Woo hoo...excercising felt awesome. Haven't done it in a couple of weeks. I actually feel awake and energized this morning. And I woke up hungry for the first time in a while! Woo hoo. Excercise rocks. :p

Just some stretching today, as I've had dance practice 2 days in a row now and I have another 1.5 hr dance class tomorrow.

Maybe some situps and pushups later on tonight.

Haven't been posting, haven't been rowing. But I have been sick.

Yesterday and Monday I rowed 4000 meters each day, but I had no energy and a lot of problems getting enough air. I've been coughing my lungs out for the last week or so, and it's only today that I feel like I'll want to live.

Hey everybody- I haven't been doing too much on account of WAY too much school work. I am trying to get back into it, and I even bought a gym membership, but the Profs are really piling it on me and I started a new job in the evil caf. :brood:
