This kinda came up in my head today when I was talking to someone online about breast implants. I'd said I'd never get any but I find this, that and this, wrong with my breasts and I hate it. They sent me a link with a gallery of natural breasts before and after pregnany/breastfeeding. Knowing what actual non-sexualized natural breasts looked like made me feel better but I can't help but feel a little bit down about them.

I have larger breasts, they don't outright sag but they aren't like perky little balloons cemented to my chest either. That always has bothered me. I get this horrible image in my head of what they could end up looking like (think of an egg hanging off a nail) and I just get a big knot in my stomach. But my fiance absolutely loves them and I've only had one guy ever say anything bad about them (and he was a big self-involved jerk anyway ). So why do I do that to myself? Why do women do that to themselves?

How do you feel about your breasts? And I'm not just talking about cup size, I mean shape, symetry, stretch marks etc.?

They are there.

I love my breasts. Other people may not consider them perfect, but they're a part of me and I think they're fantastic. In fact, my boobs are probably the one part of my body that I wouldn't change if I had the option.

Could be bigger, but meh they're good enough I guess.. maybe I'm still growing too!

Most days I'm pretty fond of the twins, but they can be a pain in the back. They're not perfect but they're the only ones I have. :) I'm hoping they'll shrink up a bit as I lose weight. I've been threatening them with the scalpel if they don't cooperate but I don't know that I would actually do it.

You threaten your breasts too? LoL. I'm afriad mine will deflate as I lose weight. "Listen up ladies! Start to deflate and I'll take up wearing a corset, okay?" I'm just kidding . . hehehe.

I'm not sure quite how I feel about my breasts.

I'm certainly not like, "GROW, you stupid fleshy pancakes!" and there are certainly advantages to being completely unendowed... (no bad back, for one. there are others, too) but shopping for them is a nightmare. I'm not a B cup. I'm not even an A cup. AA? nope, not even there.
The training bras in the little girls' section are too big for me. I wear camisoles and undershirts, mostly to hide my nipples (the damn things can't be as flat as the rest of my breasts. They're pokey and pointy and show through when I least want them to) So shopping for dresses is a nightmare. Shopping for clothes of any sort is difficult. Shopping for bathing suits is just a joke.

So... I think they're fine the way they are. I just wish I had a good supplier of clothes made to fit my freakish body.

Bumble~ Well, look at it this way, J Lo's just about an A cup anyway, and no one seems to complain :)

Personally, I have a "Love thy breasts, hate thy breasts" complex.

J lo's close an A cup? You can't tell by TV, the movies, etc.

I'm B. For some deluded reason I always thought that was big. So I've never been self critical.

My mother got Breast Cancer, but she was 73 when she died. The whole thing was a drama, first getting one surgically removed, etc, etc. She was very attached to her breasts, ar, ar. I don't know what her cup size was but it was certainly much larger than mine and was cool all around as it didn't hurt her back.

Angel, you are in a good position as gravity makes the world go round.

I like mine. They are nice and they do good things for me.

The biggest reason I don't think folks should get breast implants and the like is the nipple issue. Your nipples are that way for a reason. They have nerves, and sensitivities, and functions. You really shouldn't mess with them.

I've got a nice perky set, so no complaints here. :D

Mine are ok. They are a large C, which is big enough for me, but I hate my nipples. They are really large, and have wierd bumps on them.

:wall: I have a pretty good amount of discontent for mine...or, lackthereof, rather.

They've not grown really since like...my sophomore year in HIGH SCHOOL (I might as well be 20 [one week to go!]). I might *barely* be an A. *sigh* And I feel the pain of AngelofDance...dress shopping IS a nightmare and bathing suits...haha...ha...oh :(

But yeah I wouldn't get implants because...not sure why...maybe I've seen too many pictures of surgeries gone awry (not pretty). I'd rather have small (again, probably non-existent) boobies than scar tissue...

:nigel: Cheers.

I like mine okay. They're usually on the smallish side, but pretty perky. I thought it was really cool when I was breastfeeding, though, cause I got to wear shirts that showed off my huge boobs. That was fun...I'll miss it.

Boobs are overrated.

I answered before I read your post. I don't have any issues with the shape or look of my breasts but I *hate* the size. They are a large D, probably getting closer to a DD these days. I hate the uncomfortable binding bras I have to wear to look presentable. I hate the fact that I can't wear 50% of popular shirt styles at all because there are cut out sections for where the breasts should be and mine don't fit in there. and most others just plain don't fit because they are meant for a smaller chest to waist ratio. Try finding a suit with small hips and huge breasts, it's really fun especially if it comes as a set and they won't let you get pants 2 sizes smaller than the jacket.

Yeah Ruthie, I prefer butts. It's all about booty-power :D

My boobs are big and that's ok. Finding bras is a pain, but they fill out a teddy nicely :trick: They could stand a lift after having nursed for 2 years, but I don't ever see that happening.

 To the Big Booty Cuties!

:D

My boobs are like a D plus. I can't go braless, which sometimes I'd like to. And I haven't found a bathing suit that supports them the way they need to be. So yeah, boobage is overrated. Sometimes bigger ones are a pain.

Yeah!! Let's hear it for booty power! I may not have a big butt, but it is DAMN cute, small, round, and firm as a basketball. ;)

I like having them around, but I miss having them *round*. After nursing two, and a >30 lb weight loss twice in my life, they're just not as pretty as I would like. My bf seems to enjoy them anyway, so I suppose they just aren't for me anymore, huh?

This is what really gives me pause with the whole reduction thing. I don't want get end up with perky ones with no sensitivity.
