I have a feeling that my posts here will warrant sharp criticism and/or whacks. I think I deserve them. :(
Yesterday:
B - Diet Pepsi Vanilla
L - Diet Mountain Dew
D - 1 Quorn naked cutlet with Texas Pete, 1/2 packet of Thai Kitchen instant noodles in Spring Onion
Today:
B - Diet Pepsi Vanilla (EDIT: Oh! I forgot! I also had a slice of cinnamon toast!)
L - Coffee with a splash of lite soymilk, a pear
D - (Planned) vegetables stir-fried with ummm... maybe a cut-up Quorn naked cutlet? I don't know, to be honest.
My appetite has left me again, after a week of attempting to recover that ended with an emotional binge when my dad claimed he thought I was dieting, as if I need to diet. Sheesh.

Yesterday, I felt kinda nauseous and sick, unfortunately. So, my day consisted of 3 snack packs of pb crackers, 1 tiny cheese & cracker snack pack, 1/2 a twix and water. Most of which I probably worked off throughout the day and/or in my dance practice.
Eh. I'm doing better today, tho I still felt slightly nauseous this morning.
POSITIVE - I got some lemon pepper tofu today from Whole Foods today. They're low-cal, zesty and absolutely delicious  .

Cissy - Don't worry, I ended up eating more than I planned. I almost binged on toast. I couldn't stop myself! I guess I was craving fiber.
And yeah, I'm aware that my idea of a binge is still nowhere near a healthy amount of food. My mind is just messed up.
I did have my veggie stir fry with a Quorn cutlet, in a Szechuan sauce, and later I had 2 bananas, some grapes, and about 1/3 cup granola.
My mom has started forcing me to drink Ensure and/or Slim Fast in addition to anything I eat. They used to make me do that at RMWC so I could get more calories, but it backfired because that crap leaves such a nasty taste in my mouth that my appetite is shot for hours. :spew:

It is good that you got more food down :D. Ensure...wow, so many memories for me. I remeber when that stuff was like death in a bottle to me. remember saying to myself, "Why in the hell would ANYONE want to drink something with more calories than I get in a day!?!?!" Ironically enough though, I love the taste of the stuff now. Also, I can basically chaulk it up that this stuff saved my life. Heh, kind of odd. Please take care of yourself Kat...I know you can :).
(pssss, if you put the Chocolate variety in with a Banana, Orange and some ice...it makes one of the best smoothies I have ever had. Do try it sometime...you will be VERY surprised) By the way, what exactly is Quorn? I heard it was fungus and actually in a bit of conteversy due to statements that say it makes you horribly ill. Can you explain this stuff to me? Thanks!
Cheers.

Its not soy-based. Its actually a fungus called mycoprotein. I had never had it until I went to see The_Gazumper in England a few months ago, and in Europe, its the most common meat substitute. I had some of the products there, and I was hooked. Its really versatile, and it comes in lots of awesome varieties (er, at least in England. Here in the US, I only find it made into chicken-like things), and it tastes really good. Its not vegan, though, as they use egg whites. I have a hard time finding meat substitutes that I can stomach, and Quorn, some Gardenburger products, and a couple Morningstar Farms things are the only ones I'll touch. Don't get me started on Boca burgers. :spew:
I'm really lax about my veganism while recovering from my ED, by the way, because I figure I can't afford to be too choosy, and I just eat what I think tastes good. I'm really wanting to go completely vegan again, but I think my loved ones would just chuck me in a hospital, because its painfully obvious that I can't do it correctly right now. Soon, though! *crosses fingers*

Ah, I see. Thanks for the Quorn update :D. I also was very lax when recovering. While I still cared for all things (which it seems like you do :)) and felt a little guilty about consuming lacto-ovo stuff, I really think it actually helped me a little in the long run...with my parents and care-takers. They would get pretty worried when I went with all vegan meals, so I went lacto-ovo. Plus, I don't know if you are the same way, but I confess with much guilt that I used veganism to restrict my calories a lot of times back then. When I was forced to drink milk and eat eggs and stuff, all of my foods were more calorie dense...thus being better for me. Keep on truckin' Kat...
Sky: Please, PLEASE eat more! Have a couple or 5 PB sandwiches. That diet wouldn't keep an ant alive. For dinner have something you really enjoy, and have a lot of it. I would rip into a pack of Van's waffles with PB, maple syrup and jam on top of them, but that is just me :D. PLEASE eat a lot more and substantial the rest of the day!
Veggiegirl, you too. You have to eat more. Put on 1/2 cup of nuts on that salad with beans and olive oil instead of FF dressing. Eat!.
Cheers.

If you want to lose weight, eating this little is not going to help much because your metabolism drops when you don't eat enough.

Sky..are you sick (like stomach ache wise or whatever)? If you are then maby you could do juices. You HAVE to eat something more than this. It is essential. If you are not hungry on that amount of food, then you have to start forcing yourself to eat. Does anything sound good right now...food wise? Seriously...anything. Eat whatever it is that sounds good, and eat a lot of it. Please please please?
Cheers.

Ive been there...beleive me...im in the process of recovering...what helped is not seeing those foods as "bad" you have to allow them......once you TRULY dont restrict them....you wont binge as much....i think its sort of like any addiction...like alcohol....and its kind of like rules....when i was younger i always wanted to drink with my friends...as soon as I was "allowed" to drink...i didnt want it as often...i know...a CRAPPY analogy but it kina works i guess....
during recovering you probably will end up eating a lot more than normal...but it will even out....really....i wish i had better advice...im sorry....

DoD: Please do not throw up like you saying you won't...it will not help and am glad you see that :). I know it feels bad after binging, but it really isn't. There is NO way you will gain weight from one night of eating, especially that amount. If you ate that amount spread out during the day, it would be a perfectly reasonable intake calorically. If you try and enjoy eating those foods, then what you did will actually be kind of fun and adventurous feeling. It was for me at least when I discovered that eating a good amount for my body was necessary. But believe me when I say this pleeease...that amount of food is NOT over-eating calorically speaking. I hope you feel better soon and get happy :).
Cheers.

lyricsarah- what you said actually did help me, and it is nice to know that while recovering this is normal behavior. it makes me feel better.
dosh, i didnt throwup :) im actually very proud of myself- instead of purging like i wanted to i called my friend and we walked 15 minutes to the rec center did the elliptical for 30 minutes and played badmitten for 45. then walked back. im pretty proud of myself bc in the past i would take the easy way out. though i didnt burn off all i feel like i over ate i feel alot better about things, and my friend and i are gunna go work out and play badmitten again tomorrow! also you are right one night will not kill me, and i am going to keep on the path of recovery tomorrow instead of going back to eating hardly any like i usually would. thank you:)

You call that a binge? That looks like a few healthy snacks to me. Not even a meal. You make me scared to post the results of my "binge" day yesterday. :\
So I don't think I will. It was a lot of food, maybe. Mostly popcorn.
Today, I feel really sick and poopy, and don't feel like eating. I might have a plum for dinner at work. ><

So I'm not recovering from an EDO persay...I had my share back in high school; since then I've mainly gotten past even my "disordered" eating...but yesterday was definately...LOTS of cals...for me :|
B: Peaceful Planet soy protein shake made w/1 C. N/F Vanilla WestSoy, 1 Tbsp. Almond Butter, and 1/2 frozen banana
S: 1/2 C. Essential 10 w/ 1/4 C. N/F Vanilla WestSoy; 2 cups coffee w/Silk creamer
L: leftover Seitan steak with balsamic reduction; potato mush of some sort; fresh green beans w/pearl onions
S: 1 Tbsp. P.B. w/baby carrots; 3 pieces Green & Black's orange-spice chocolate
S2: 1/2 C. Peanut Butter Panda Puffs w/ 1/4 C. Vanilla Silk
D: appetizer - vegan nachos (blue corn chips, green chili, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce)
1/3 C. Yukon Gold mashed potatoes; 1/4 breaded seitan steak; 1 c. steamed broccoli
Dessert... : 1/2 slice vegan carrot cake
**My sister is in town and so I didn't do off-day cardio; we went out to dinner at the veg restaurant here and so I had the dessert...yesterday was a good 2000 cal day (which, for my build/weight, is high...otherwise I wouldn't care :-/ )

Kat: Don't restrict! Just because you overate doesn't mean you have to restrict. You know that right? Nothing you eat in one day will effect you negatively...especially since you are so skinny. Since you didn't post the food you ate, I don't know what it consisted of, but it probably wasn't enough to make you gain weight/ do whatever your afraid of. Please...PLEASE don't just have a plum for dinner. Do you really truly feel that is right for you to do? I mean seriously, do you feel a plum can nourish someone, regardless of the the day before, for a WHOLE meal? Please don't restrict. If it makes you feel better, go take a short walk around your living quarters. Get your mind off of yesterday and just live today. Eat enough and live normally.
Provida: That amount of food couldn't hold most people over for one meal heh. I know I would be extremley ravenous after just eating that. You NEED that much food for one meal, 2 other meals (since that was breakfast) the same size and 2 or 3 snacks. You enjoy food right? I mean, if you do enjoy it...why not eat? You won't gain any weight from eating and nothing ill will happen to you. You will feel a LOT better and your body will be 100 times healthier. Food is here to be consumed...please partake :D.
Take care everyone and eat!
Cheers.

I recently came back from a trip, so my tummy is still getting used to "normal" food, that's partly the problem.
