Side question: Do any of you take supplements? I just started taking a B complex and acidophilus, but wondered what other people take.
I think a lot of VB-ers do take supplements and/or eat fortified foods.
I personally only take a vitamin once in awhile, but I do try to buy foods that are fortified when the option is there ... ie - fortified silk, fortified cereal, luna bars rather than standard candy bars, etc.
Welcome :D

Dosh, you eat so well. How do you plan your meals? I live on campus, so the options are limited (hence the excess of pb&j), but seriously! I need to go to whole foods with a creative eye...or maybe I'll print out this thread for ideas!

Well, I actually eat pretty boring when you think about it. Go through this thread and look at my diet...its pretty much always the same stuff :(. I am really into sports and nutrition though, so a LOT of my day is taken up by food. I just go through all my meals before I eat them to see if they are well balanaced and such. I eat every 2 hours, so it takes a lot of playing around and using the scale/calculator/nutrition labels. PB&J is the ultimate food though...keep on eating that. It is simple and one of the most nutritous, balanced meals one can consume. I should eat more of them during the day, but I just never do it for some reason. When I come bnack from a 3 hour ride though, I can down 2-3 full sized PB&J sandwiches.
Cheers.
