View Full Version : It's not insomnia when it's my fault, right? :D

Sometimes, such as right now, it's 4 in the morning and I've yet to go to bed. I'm on the computer, and I'm sure that's not helping the problem. I don't really feel tired, but I know that if I get in my bed I'll be sleeping in a minute.
Is this insomnia, or just stupidity? :p

Sounds like you have trouble with delayed gratification. Poor mikey. :)

Maybe try getting a better bedtime routine to help you unwind and get in the mood for sleeping. Don't watch TV/ use the computer. Lay your clothes out for the morning, a bit of light tidying, that type of thing. I wouldn't call it insomina as you sound like you don't have a problem sleeping, just going to bed,

Thanks krista! :D
I need to get an hour timer and limit all of my computer time to two hours with a mandatory cool-down (or go to bed) time. Sad, really.

It's just computer sickness. I could be sitting at my computer doing god-knows-what at 4 in the morning but I'd be so fatigued I'm ready to fall off my chair right into a coma. For me it's just stubborness. I'm more of a night owl than morning person.

Hehe, I know this one! I may not stay up till 4am, but I've laughed at my silliness many times. I'll think, "Man, I'm bored with this," so I go to a site I haven't been to in awhile that might be more interesting. Gee, if I'm bored, MAYBE I ought to go to bed!
