Well, I'm finally feeling better. I'm planning to go to exercise class in the morning, but I'll probably have to take it easy for the next day or two.
Go Hamsters!!!

I tried to go to the fitness centre in my building, but someone was already there on the treadmill, so I did the bike for 10 minutes and left. After a short break, I went out for a 30 minute brisk walk around the complex, looking around. Tomorrow a friend is going to take me on trails in the forest, should be fun.

Today was a 7 mile run... in the middle of it I did 40 min of intervals... in the snow. Running in the snow is a lot harder!
Yay 808veg!

Sunday was a thirty minute walk and a fifteen minute run.
Monday is three hours stretching and dance classes as well as lower body toning and ab work.

Mezzo - your post for Monday sounds like me on Thursday.
Anyway, today 2 hrs. low intensity dance class (includes at least 30 min. of stretching).
My muscles are still so tight from my last dance class. Any suggestions on how to relax your muscles other than by stretching? I was thinking maybe I should take a hot bath tonight or something.

Yesterday I went through a 40-minute walk through the woods with two friends (one of them being the guide). It was fun, I'll try going there on my own soon.
Later I played DDR for about an hour, but since there was one pad and two people, it's probably about 30 minutes of (light) exercise for me.

I might lift tonight if I can get up the motivation to go to the gym. But if not, it'll be tomorrow.

Thanks guys, I’m all better now. Exercise class today, I hope to get out for a run tomorrow….it’s going to be warm, well, like 35-40 degrees. This weekend it will change and dip into the negatives brrrr.
Annabanana, great run!
Elena, great you enjoyed the walk. Are the woods really secluded? Why do you need a guide?
ND, Ahhh rest days are nice. Yay, you gotta watch your step out in the snow….careful. Great run.
Catswym, great hamstering.
Nkuvu, rowing…awesome!!!
808, Great!! Have fun!
MezzoEmi, Way to Hamster!
Virtue, stretching is the best way to help your muscles! But a hot bath or shower would help too.
Formicalinoleum, good for you getting on the trainer. I really hate the trainer but I need to start getting on it and getting with the program.
Go Hamsters!!! Woo Hooo!!! :vebo: :hamster: :vebo:

I'm back!!! :)
My computer crashed in a very, very bad way, but it looks like I've got it working again. Yay! I won't catch you up on the last few months, but this week...
Sunday: 30 minutes cardio, 20 minutes lower body weights, 600 sit-ups
Monday: 30 minutes cardio 20 minutes upper body weights, 400 sit-ups, a few laps in the pool (I'm an awful swimmer -- it took me a while)
Tonight: I would have gone to dance class, but I fixed my computer instead :)
:hamster:
missed y'all

Good work(outs) Hamsters!! Wow.
For me it was 1 1/2 hours of brazilian jiu-jitsu again. Arm bar warm ups - a lot of them, then it was working on arm bars preventing arm bars with different partners.
I would like to get a bike and ride around though, I think I might save up for one, because there is a nice park-like area outside to ride around. :)

Gym usual: hour treadmill/45 mins elip/15 rowing/crunches. Nice long walk, short bike ride. ahhh
Today:
Had planned for a nice afternoon ride, but it rained :( So, I did 30 mins treadmill, 45 eliptical, 15 mins rowing, upper body machines/weights. 400 crunches (ow ow ow)
Been in a sort of workout frenzy lately.....:)

By the time I got home from my dance practice last night I was too tired for the hot bath, so just showered. But the stretching did help a lot. Thanks :)
Today = more stretching and at least 1 hour of dance practice. I'm working on holding the arabesque position for longer counts, so I can show some improvement for tomorrow's class.
Go Hamsters!

slynny: Yeah, they are a little secluded. I just needed a guide because there's more than one path, and lots of options on the path.

Well we went to the gym, but literally all but 1 machine was taken, so we decided to walk fast pace for 45 mins instead....and then for dinner we had salad with low fat dressing and light lemonadee! :)

okay, monday i didn't actually do the whole 50min aerobics/ calesthenics thing-- i cut out the aerobics and just did the exercise portion (arm work, crunches, leg lifts etc) because my body just felt exhausted.
yesterday i walked 3mi and did the 55min work out i had planned for monday.
today will probably be 3mi walking and nothing else unless i get out early and have the motivation tonight.
