View Full Version : Does anyone know of a good moisturizer w/ SPF >15?

I am very fair (I think I have the ability to get sunburned at night..) and am in the market for a new facial moisturizer with SPF. Preferably SPF >15 (I was using Neutrogena's Daily Defense, which is SPF 30) and of course, cruelty free.

I run out of this very quickly, Avon's Hydrofirming Bio Day Cream w/ SPF 15. I have very dry and scaly skin and this works wonders.

i use "beauty without cruelty" facial lotion. it's nice for dryer skin, and is cruelty free (hence the name :) ) but it is only SPF 15.

Avon uses petrochemicals, other synthetics & slaughterhouse by-products in their products. So does Neutrogena.
BWC was, last time I checked, only UVB.
I use & recommend Alba Botanica SPF 15 for sensitive skin (turquoise tube). It's cheap, vegan, cruelty-free & full spectrum. It feels very light, moisturizes well (esp if you apply it to damp skin) & doesn't aggravate or cause blemishes.

I use Cetaphil daily moisturizer with SPF 15... Not strong enough really for me either though :(

BWC was, last time I checked, only UVB.

i've been using it for two years and my bottles say protects against UVA, B and C.

i'll try to find the alba stuff on my next hfs trip.. i like so many of their other products. plus, the bonus that it doesn't clog up the pores!

I use Alba SPF 20 for the face in the pink bottle and I really love it. It's hypo-allergenic and does not clog pores. I would like to find a higher SPF facial sun protectant thats cruelty free if I can. I know Jason makes cruelty free sunscreen, but I haven't seen one by them with a high SPF for the face.

Aubrey Organics Blue Green Algae w/SPF 15 works great. Alot of lotions bother my skin but not this one.
