Has anyone tried that new "Just like Honey!" Rice Nectar that Pangea is selling? I got some today, along with the marshmallow fluff. I haven't opened it yet. I know I'm a tard and I could just go taste it for myself, but, it just looks so pretty, I don't know. I don't wanna break the seal til I'll actually use it.
I'm thinking of doing up some french toast, and drizzling it on top. Or maybe a PB and nectar sandwich. Maple syrup is an ingredient, though... I'm weary it'll just taste like maple, not honey. :-/

I haven't tried this yet. I'm very curious about it though, so let us know when you try it.

Oh my garsh! Just freakin like honey. Down to the taste, texture, and smell. Sort of like, cheap, low-grade honey, but honey nonetheless. A far cry from agave or maple syrup. *Do* give this one a whirl.

Ooooh.... I'm looking forward to it now. I miss the flavor of honey in tea.

is it really all that different from rice syrup? i use plain old brown rice syrup in place of honey a lot.

thanks. i've been wondering about it ever since i saw a recipe that called for it...but only a teaspoon's worth. so i put off researching it.
hopefully i'll see it in a store soon because i can't afford the high cost of shipping from pangea to canada.
