Home Made 8 Veggie Juice

This recipe is suitable for a: vegetarian/vegan diet.

Ingredients:

8 tomatoes
one stalk of celery
2 cups of carrots
2 large onions
2 large green peppers
1 cup parsley


Instructions:
-----------------------------------------------------
Grate all ingredients to make them a uniform size, and cook them on the stove in a large pot on medium just until it reaches a boil. Take off the heat and let cool, then pass them through a strainer. You can can this in jars to drink later or drink it all now!


Additional comments:
-----------------------------------------------------
Best when you use fresh grown items, but just as good with store bought items. My Nana made this since I was little and it is better than the store bought IMO!

This looks yummy! But there isn't 8 vegetables... :-)

there are 8 tomatoes though :lol:
i love vegetable juice ! i'm the only person on campus that walks around with a can of v8

Does it have to be cooked? It sounds like a good raw drink, if you blend it instead of grating it. If you blend it and keep it raw then it would probably need some water or other liquid in it.
