Every few days I get this pain in my chest. It's always a sharp pain, but never in the same place.

Today it was from just below my right collar bone and went down and sort of in. It only hurt really bad when I breathe, and this is how it usually works, but it's always in a different place.

I've not been too worried since it's always different, but should I perhaps be worried? It's mostly just an annoyance right now, not too painful to keep me awake at night or anything.

sounds like it could be acid reflux. I have it, and it sucks. :(

Yeah, it sounds like that or gas. Sometimes a gas bubble in the tummy can radiate pain up as high as your shoulder. I used to get more pains like that than I do now. You might start paying attention to what you're eating prior to getting these pains.

From what you said about breathing, it sounds like chest wall pain. Hurts worse to take a deep breath, right? When one comes on, calm down, and try to take some aspirin or advil. I used to get them too, they come from stress and are not uncommon in people in their late teens/twenties.

Is that what that is? I started getting those when puberty struck. I was told everything from microvalve prolapse, to a pulled muscle, to 'growing pains'.

I could believe its from stress... God knows I've got enough of it!
