View Full Version : My daughter ate a real hamburger!

She confessed to me that she ate a bite of hamburger at school awhile ago. She said she ate one bite and thought it was gross. Asked her what was gross about it and she said it was the juice. I dont know if it was the taste of the juice or what, but she said she will never do it again because it was disgusting. Im surprised she didnt have a peice of chicken as her first bite in years because that was the hardest thing for her to give up. But maybe its a good thing it was the hamburger rather than chicken cuz if she liked it she may have went back! Eek! lol

I'm glad she was honest with you :)

I would ask her if she knew what the "juice" was and then help her do some research on it so she would find out for herself that it is blood, lymph, urine and feces mixed in with other bodily fluids :doh: ...mmm bacteria soup, anyone? Anyone? :D

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW..... i just may tell her what that juice was just to be sure she doesnt try it again lol

I was glad she confessed too.

That's great that she feels like she can be honest with you. Hopefully in the future she'll draw off of this experience & remain steadfast when she's temted to "cheat" again. :)

It is good she was honest. I would explain to her that the "juice" is actually blood, it may keep her away in the future when she gets curious again...

The "juice" was probably the (fat) grease. I don't think they serve the burgers rare in school.

It's great you two can talk about this stuff, that she feels comfortable sharing it with you. Good for her! (and good for you, too)

LOL no offense at all, actually I get that ALOT. I get carded for beer and stuff still. It sucks sometimes but I know I will like it in a few years.
