(i decided to post this here since i figure anyone looking in this forum would need it a lot more than the general public of the veggie patch :p)

so a thread nirvana posted in the veggie patch about having trouble with a couple math problems got me thinking... why not start our own little support system/homework help system? we all have our particular areas of expertise -- i'm good with math, physics, english, spanish, and french, so if anyone needs help with any of these, my AIM is plant Magic dust. see, that was what i was thinking -- anyone who was interested could say what they could help with and some way of contact, and then if anyone needs help with something, they could just hop onto vb and find someone who could help :) i thought it was worth a try anyway!

that's a cool idea.. people say I'm good at math but I'm pretty sure you're a lot better seeing as how I saw that you know trig and I never even took that.. (only got as high as Algebra 2).. good idea for a thread  I'm sure it will be of great use.

yeah, i've taken up through calculus (as of the start of next semester, i'm a sophomore in college.. yikes!), but i'm sure i'm a bit rusty on some of the earlier stuff (particularly geometry), and perhaps you could be of more help than i for that... see, teamwork! :D

heh I have a really bad memory so I'm pretty sure I forgot that stuff as well.. even if it was just two years ago :'( mostly it's the algebra that's evil.. I think geometry is ok with me.. the probability thing the last time I was in regular school (alg 2) was the most horrible thing ever. I was confused as heck at the last parts of that :dizzy: good thing we were in teams so i wasn't alone with the madness..

haha out of all maths, i suck worst at geometry. i'm good at thinking of things in an abstract sense, but if you give me something spatial, something concrete, i'm like "uh... what the hell?" hehe.

straight from my pm box to this thread! :

would you mention that if anyone needs help with writing Arts essays (editting, critical reviews, defending ideas, reviews, or plan old flushing out ideas), I'm more then happy to help. My specialty is European history, but I know a bit of American and Canadian history, too.

Thanks.

so.. yay for krista! :D

could everyone leave their aim or something like that so there's a way for someone to contact you if they need help?

..unless everyone's on vb so often that a pm would be seen instantly ;)
