In my opinion, all questions to manufacturers or distributers should not be posed in the form "does your product contain animal-origin ingredients and is it tested on animals" -- you are telegraphing to them the answer you want -- It should be posed as "what are the ingredients in such and such a product and where do they come from, what is their earthly origin?; and how are your products tested, to make sure they are safe for use on human beings?"

agh. yeah unfortunately most people don't think of honey as an animal ingredient. sometimes my roommate or bf will think they're doing something nice for me by picking up a whole wheat and honey bagel from the coffee shop and i have to keep reminding them that honey isn't vegan. bah

tigi is cool though, i used to live with a girl who swore by it and she was a hairdresser. she had the bedhead stick, i could never really figure out how to use it properly when i had short hair, it's basically like pomade i guess. maybe next time i run out of shampoo and styling junk i'll give that brand a try, it costs about the same as the Jason's stuff i use now.
i'll keep an eye out for the honey though
