My husband is starting a videography company in Augusts 2005. We currently live in Massachusetts but our family lives in Virginia and we will be moving down there in the summer (we also visit there regularly). His main focus will be weddings. He and his business partner are both KICKASS with cameras (business conveniently ties in with their dream of filmmaking). They are investing in two very expensive cameras, and an amazing computer, and professional editing software (my husband actually already is very familiar with the software, too).
In the meantime, we're letting all our friends know that they may be able to receive the business' wedding package for free (will be priced at over $3,000--includes ceremony and reception, two cameramen, and professional editing) in exchange for letting him use clips on his website and in other marketing. He and his partner need wedding experience and the portfolio to show for it. They are SO talented (and very professional, I might add). I thought I could possibly extend this offer to VBers. Obviously, your wedding (or wedding of a friend) would have to workout for him schedule-wise, but it's well worth checking into.
