I am in love with these! I was a major chicken wing fan in my omni days, and these are a very close substitute! They are pretty expensive though, I paid $3.99 for the pack of 8, but I still think it was worth it for an occasional treat!

More proof that you have to try alot of brands before you find one that's right for you. I tried them about a month or two ago and thought they tasted like :moonpie: I guess there is no one meat-sub food that's right for everyone.

:D

There was another thread on these somewhere. I thought they were naz-T with a capital T. Too salty for me. I love the Morningstar Farms buffalo wings though. They're breaded and not soaked in sauce.

I thought the sauce was too pungent and vinegary. I couldn't finish them.

i'd never had buffalo wings, but i thought they were way too sour, and worse than that, the bag fell apart and came open.

I know this is crazy...I know this..but I swear those things tasted like moldy cheese.... I'll take the riblets over those wings any day...but that just goes to show that everyones taste buds are different.

The same thing happened to me! I followed the instructions too, and yet the bag burst... I was afraid to eat them...I emailed the company and never heard back  . I like riblets better anyway :)

I really liked the texture, but the sauce was WAY too spicy for me. I think I downed a gallon or so of water that evening. :p

Odd orange color, too spicy. I boiled in the bag and ended up with mush. A friend claims popping them under the broiler for a few minutes will crisp them up. But it wasn't worth the effort for me.

On the flip side, DH (an omni) liked them.

I went back to the store tonight looking for them, and was told they don't carry them anymore! A sad day in my life.

I tried them once and I couldn't even eat them. There was something not right about the sauce. And I paid 5 bucks for the box. I was pissed.

Uuuccchhhhh! These were disgusting!!! I haven't tried the MF ones because of my extremely negative experience with the Gardenberger ones.

MF's wings are probably my favorite frozen food. Mmm... :lick: Try them!

I really like them. I think that for a lot of people it comes down to that sauce. If you like the vinegary, hot sauce flavor, then they're great; otherwise :moonpie:
I wouldn't eat them all the time, but I like them as an occasional treat. I do have to agree about the bag though. It doesn't seem to be too sturdy for something that has to be boiled. I pretty much picked up the knack for how to boil them without having the back burst on me, but it requires the use of a spatula.
