This is the second hard plastic cd case junk mail thing I have gotten from AOL in the last week! I can't stand this! They don't send a little card, NO! They send a bunch of crap that wastes resources and takes up space and I will NEVER NEVER NEVER sign up with them.

Every year or so I send in one of those little "reduce your junk mail" forms and it helps with most things but not AOL.

I hate them I hate them I hate them. :furious:

Whew.

My question...How do I get them to STOP?

I feel the same way and I've wondered if there's a way to get them to stop sending all that crap. AOL is the devil.

I get a lot of charity, school mailings, and other stuff I know I didn't sign up for, too. There really should be a way to stop all this junk.

I just got ANOTHER one of those things today, and thought the same thing as i tossed it into the garbage.I was wondering to myself how much garbage they put into the landfills from their stupid little cd's.What a waste.

I noticed this when I was in Best Buy the other day. They had tons of gift cards in plastic CD cases. But the CD cases didn't even have the spindles to hold the CD so you couldn't even reuse it for anything!

I agree, it's really annoying. I try saving the cases to use but it's still such a waste of resources. What really kills me is that I am an AOL subscriber and have been for years! So while I am a paying customer already they continue to send me their mailings in the mail for free hours and to sign up. Why don't they check their records- I'm a customer already!!!

I got 3 of those DVD sized jackets in the past month. Such a waste! I spent 10 minutes pulling all the labels off to recycle what i could.
