ugh i HATE the why is that all your eating question!!

We're having our office party today for lunch. We're going to a Korean restaurant. I think it'll be easy to find a vegetable hot pot or something like that. I work in a small office where people actually give a sh*t about me being veggie, so I don't have the same situation as the (hilarious) email about Patty Lewis planning the party at The Grill (of death) and the screaming tomatoes. But I'm sure there are people who have had to deal with that kind of thing for real.

They're lining up now for the 'cold cuts lunch.' Afterwards, they're having the white elephant gift exchange. I'll be eating my leftover stir fry and rice, then laughing as the ones who participate get their crappy gifts.

My works xmas 'do' was last night. I had my own vegetarian meal ordered so I was safe, but at one point the waiter tried to give me egg fried rice with ham, and then he picked out the bits of ham and was surprised when I still didn't want to eat it! The manager backed me up though and demanded that he brought me vegetarian rice.
An idiotic colleague said to me at one point 'You're not a vegan are you?', but he's the type of ****wit who has a problem with everyone.
