Soy milk has a limited shelf life once opened. However, I heard that unused Soy milk can be frozen for longer period of time. Please share any related experience/info. in this regard.
Thanks.

I'm bumping this because I have the same question.
When I go car-camping for many days at a time, I tend to freeze fridge-foods that are freezable before packing them in the cooler so they help keep things cold and don't warm things up by adding them to the cooler later.
Has anybody frozen the stuff before? Does it separate to the point that shaking the container doesn't get it back to normal?

I froze a container of Soy Silk creamer and it DID separate. I had to actually blend it to get it un-lumpy. I don't know if soy milk would do the same??

Thanks. Maybe I'll do a test case at home, and use it for cooking if it doesn't work out.

I've frozen rice milk and it separated, though hubby still used it for cereal and said it didn't taste any different.
HTH!

You could try using the vacuum sealed non-refrigerated cartons. They tend to be smaller, and even one person could run through them before the expiration.

I gave it a test - Trader Joe's regular soy milk (plain, no sweeteners). It was not good. The solids flaked and wouldn't mix in with the liquid that was left behind after thawing.
On our camping trip, we opted for the more expensive Eden Soy 8-oz containers that don't require refridgeration.
