I constantly buy stuff I don't need! My problem is clothes. Unfortunately, its an emotional issue where I try to compensate feeling bad about myself with purchasing new things to wear. The end result is me feeling worse for spending too much money on stuff I don't need. Argh!

man, i need to be on such a tight budget, but it always seems that there just happens to be something on sell that I want! :( This weekend cause I was sooooooo broke I went to Barnes N Noble to do research instead of buying the book I want, but ended up spending $5 on coffee! And today I went to the grocery store and had change left over and decided to buy the little one a toy! :( argh!

My weakness is books. Unfortunately, my fiance shares this weakness; we're dangerous in book stores. I could easily go to a library and borrow books, and I do that too, but sometimes I just go crazy buying books I don't really need.

Glad you posted. Don't go out shopping for fun. Don't see catalogue's/ads/sales. Buy what is essential and stick with it. Have a list of essentials and look for sales on these items alone.

5 Bucks for one Coffee is steep. I bought a whole bottle of instant coffee for 3 bucks this weekend !!!

On a different note I used to live in FL several years ago. Had a very tough time as a Vegetarian. How is the scenario for Vegetarians in FL these days ? Are there more Vegetarians ? Is there more support now vegetarians in FL ?

What do you do with books that you bought once you read them ? How often do you buy books on impulse like this ?
