i know i know

there have been topics on this before i just finished reading some of them

but just wondering if anyone has found an effective natural deodrant (not ant-perspirant)

btw i noticed when i was in hk that many chinese people don't wear deodrant and don't smell. (so jealous)

i have two theories on this one-diet(although they eat alot of meat arghhhhh).

two because they never started wearing anti-pers or any deodrant there bodies fought the bacteria naturally whereas everyone elses become depdendent on deodarant. what do you think?

That's interesting. I actually have noticed that on days when I forget to put on deoderant, I don't smell at all. I don't know why I don't stop wearing it! As for a good deoderant, I can't help you there. I have probably 5 partially used natural deoderants in my bathroom. I have tried KMF stick and roll on, the crystal, Alba, Jason, Avalon, Toms and probably more that I am forgetting. Out of those I had the best results with the Alba and the crystal. But they would only work sometimes. So, I keep going back to the Dove.

I like Aubrey's, as I like all Aubrey products. They are free of aluminum.

Of course it's not going to keep you from sweating, and you don't want that, anyway, but it's a great scent!

I recommend something called the Deoderant Stone, it's just potassium sulphate plus mineral salts. I get mine in a little bag for about 4 bucks Canadian, it's made by a company called Natures Expressions. There are American (and otherwise) companies that make them too. It's excellent, I've used it before exercising a lot of times, and it really works.

I like Jason's apricot kind. it's the only animal-friendly deoderant that I've used that works and doesn't make me break out. even the rock makes me break out for some reason, and I didn't find it worked very well.

Weleda Sage spray deodorant is the BEST! It is all natural and made with essential oils and lemon juice.

That's what I use!!! It's incredible!! The citrus one is also good.
Also Aubrey Organics' "E Plus High C" deodorant worked for me when I was working all day long at a store & then exotic dancing all night.
It's crap that natural, animal-free deodorants don't work.

I am mad about deodorant crystals. Which you can get in a spray now! So you don't have to wet your rock and all of that business.

I thought it was hoopla, but it really works. Really well.

I have some Tom's of Maine, but I like the deodorant rock as well. I mentioned in another thread that it also make a great conversation piece at the gym. :D

I used to use the deoderant stone, but I now use Kiss My Face Liquid Rock, which is a roll-on. This is the only roll-on I've ever liked.
