If you are going to do any holiday shopping, then please give your money to some good companies.
Check out my Good Companies (http://www.veganpeace.com/sweatshops/GoodCompanies.htm) page for sweatshop free shopping and look on my Links Page (http://www.veganpeace.com/links/links.htm) under 'Shopping' for some vegan companies.

Very nice post and resource, except that not all the companies you mentioned are sweatshop-free. For example, Vegan Essentials sells a large selection of Earth Shoes (and some other brands made in China), which are made in uncertified factories, where workers are required to live on the premises.

It's true that not everything the companies on the list sell is sweatshop free. The list is meant as a resource to find sweatshop free products.
This (http://www.earth.us/company.asp) is what Earth Shoes has to say about their factories in China.

Yes, I agree that you have offered nice resource. Thank you for that! Concerning Earth Shoes, please see previous post for details. In summary, Earth Footwear is owned by MDI Shoe, a privately held company with many (uncertified) factories in China. They claim that they are family-owned, which means only that they are not publicly traded. (The same claim is made by many factory farm meat producers.) Like most large-scale China apparel operations, they are *not* Fair Trade certified and the workers are required to live on the premises in group dorm rooms. MDI Shoe is the same company that makes millions of pairs of shoes each year for Walmart and other high-volume stores.

I've worked a lot on the 'Good Companies' page this last week and added more categories and a lot more companies!
