From one can of Frozen OJ Concentrate I get roughly 1.5L of OJ. 250 ml of OJ gives 160% of daily Vitamin C recquirement. However, OJ goes stale after 4 days. So sometimes I used to drink like 750 mls a day.

Now I think I will drink 125 mls daily. Keep like 400 mls in the refrigerator and freeze the rest. That way it will last a lot longer, also healthier and frugal.

I like to just scoop out a spoonful of frozen oj concentrate whenever I need some. Its a great addition to smoothies

Thanks very much for sharing this. it is simple but still makes a big difference. Now, I just use as much concentrate as I need for one cup and the rest stays in the same container in the freezer FRESH !!! The lid is not secure but I make sure that it stays on top.

Going stale as in it tastes different or you aren't supposed to drink it because you'll get sick? I've kept an open OJ container up to two weeks and it still tasted fine to me.

In my refrigerator it goes bad in 3 to 4 days, after 5 days it tastes sour.
