I gave myself my own haircut today. This is the second time I am doing this. I used the #1 size to give myself a really short haircut. Usually, I prefer this size.

This is the second time I am giving myself a haircut. The clippers have almost paid for themselves. With tips and all a haircut locally is 14 bucks. Clippers cost like 31 bucks with tax and all.

Wish I had started doing this earlier. Still better late than never.

I called a salon and asked them to do my hair. I wanted it bleached and dyed a few colours (purple, blue and red mainly) and they told me it'd need to be deep conditioned. I agreed and added that to the tally too. They wanted to charge me 100+ dollars. I know that's actually not too bad of a price for everything I wanted but I'm poor and cheap. So I said okay, hung up, bleached my hair myself, dyed it purple and red myself, deep conditioned it myself, and I love it.

ETA: Doing it myself cost me $40. :)

DIY haircuts are pretty hit and miss. I'm luck to have a friend who cuts hair, and she went to school in the netherlands, so I can look all euro and ****. yeah!

I really stink at this, but I end up doing it myself too.

The thing is, the back is so difficult I end up fixing it like 2 times afterwards, the end result is pretty dang good though I guess.

Yes, it is the back that makes the difference. Having a short haircut all over helps in this regard.
