View Full Version : Eating too much?

Alright I just started college and I try and eat healthy. I eat a lot more food compared to other friends. So I would like to know if I eat too much:
cup of oatmeal, bowl of granoala with raisins and some plain yogurt, cottage cheese with fruit, glass of orange juice, cup of bean soup, cheese sandwich, big salad with just veggies and spinach, and then another cheese sandwich for dinner and a cup of oatmeal, 5 pretzels or so, handful of raisins and mucho water. I know its lots of dairy but my school has almost no vegan options so I I'm kinda stuck. but should I cut back? I usually have a veggie wrap instead of the cheese sandwich but you can only have so many of those. :drool:

You may feel this way because of the amount of carbs you are getting from grains...Insteadof the double on the oatmeal, try more fruit and veggies.But it doesnt seem you are eating too much :D

Hmmm, I agree, cut back on the oatmeal and try more raw foods. Raw foods fill me up pretty fast. Or you could try some form of frozen fruit drink, (smoothie type thing) Those will fill you up pretty well.

Yes, but those tend to be high in calories. However, if you're planning on being active, I'd say go with the juices n' smoothies. It's good you're drinking water; many a time have I eaten when I was actually thirsty. Sounds like you're doing well!

Can someone really eat to much? I don't think you are eating to much at all. I say eat as much as you want to. As long as it is balanced and healthy. If you are not exercising, you could also do that. Then, you can eat even more heh.

Is that one meal, or a whole day? Because that doesn't sound like much to me.

Yea heh. Thats basically what I, and most, eat in one meal. No worries on your consumption.

a little info about yourself. Activity level, age, gender pls.

From the looks of it, I don't think you're eating nearly enough.
