Does anyone know if Wet N Wild tests or not? I've looked all over, and I can't seem to find anything.

I don't know but I'd sort of like to know this as well (very inexpensive stuff :lick:) I have a blue lipstick, eyeliners etc. from them from a few months almost a year ago..

I can't find anything difinitive. It doesn't say they don't test on animals on the makeup bottles, and I can't find anything on line... :worried:

ETA: WAIT! http://www.gan.ca/en/lifestyle/shopping/notest.html#w lists wet'n'wild. Thats one web site so far, so nothing is certain. *goes back and browses google more*

I just have a hard time shelling out $3.50 US for eyeliner when the Wet and Wild case is staring at me screaming "Come on, I'm only $1.00!"

I don't know if they test or not but I have read somewhere (Aubrey Hampton's book I think) that *all* cosmetics contain animal fats as base ingredients unless otherwise specified.
I happily shell out $10 for my Logona eyeliners.

Oh, it's not just animal fats- it's bugs, fish and fish scales, cow spinal cord and more!

Even if I weren't vegan, I wouldn't want that stuff on my face. :(

Wouldn't they have to tell on the ingredients list though?

And I'm a poor High School student. So $10 for eyeliner is way out of my budget :p

I can always go without I suppose, or continue to buy the kind I do now.

well i probably wouldn't mind spending crazy money on good cruelty free makeup either if i HAD the money....

Cissy, i don't know how you feel about Avon but if you find someone who sells it, you can buy some pretty good stuff on sale for cheap.
Wet'n'Wild eyeliners aren't that good, i had a couple but they would kind of crumble onto my eyelids instead of drawing a line... i dunno maybe they were just old.

I'm a huge fan of cheap makeup, and my experience with the Wet N Wild line is that it's pretty much "You get what you pay for" The eyeliners that I've gotten from them bled all down my face within an hour or so of putting them on.

In the US at least, they *do* have to specify ingredients on the label. Granted, you may need a chemistry degree to decipher the list....:D Just kidding.

Okay, I've never used it before, but I guess I'll stay with my Jane eyeliner :p I'm glad I found out though :p

I shell out $7, because Revlon doesn't test and it's the only kind that doesn't run on me.

If I use the wet 'n wild stuff, it looks like I haven't slept for a week!!

If Aveda is medium price, I must me buying the dirt cheap stuff

I bought Jane last time, and it seems to work okay, inexpensive too. I just need a darker colour next time :p

A few quality,medium-high priced items will last longer, than lots of crummy products.I cant imagine Wet n Wild does not test.

I buy the main items I need, from Aveda and for a kick or some new colors I would add something cheap. But,mine last so long, becuase of the quality-I prefer that.

for some reason I think they've quit selling Jane around here :grr:

I bought some wet n wild the other day. I find that, with super cheap makeup like that, if you use water with it it helps it be... better. It makes the eyeshadow colors bolder and the lines for the eyeliner smoother...

Did I hear that the eyeslipsface.com stuff (or is it lipseyesface.com?) is cruelty-free? I am almost positive I saw them advertised in VegNews or Vegetarian Times or someplace like that. Anyway... their stuff is all $1.

I never heard of them but I went to their website and there's a little icon that says they don't test on animals on their Philosophy page. But i don't know if they have animal ingredients.. that stuff is cheap. not as much variety as Wet 'n' wild but still..
