I have dry, thick, somewhat damaged hair. My current shampoo/conditioner are OK, but I just think it's time for a change. Any recommendations? I want one that is not animal tested/vegan. Thanks!

I really like the Avalon line of shampoos and conditioners. They make my hair nice and shiny and smooth. Plus they smell wonderful. :)

I like the Jason products. The conditioner is a bit expensive but it does not take much for really good condtioning. Sometimes I alternate it with something cheaper.

I really like Trader Joe's Nourish Spa shampoo and conditioner. I have long, thick hair that gets dry and it's great! It leaves my hair shiney and tangle free. The shampoo smells sooo good, it's pretty cheap at $2.99 and it's all vegan :)

I recently picked up the Lamas soy hydrating shampoo and conditioner. They seem great so far. I will sometimes use Paul Mitchell's detangler and shampoo one, also.

Nature's Gate Organics has a great line, and they smell fantastic. Its so wonderful to have products that use the "certified vegan" label. I buy mine at the health food store.
