Chocolate Dream Shake

This recipe is suitable for a: vegetarian/vegan diet.
Ingredients:

4 cups frozen bananas, cut into 2-inch chunks
1 cup soy milk, rice milk, or other nondairy milk
3 Tbsp. cocoa or carob powder
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions:

Thaw the frozen banana chunks for 5 to 10 minutes. Toss all the ingredients into the blender and puree for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
Additional comments:
-----------------------------------------------------
For a thinner shake, add extra soy milk. For an extra treat, try adding almond or peppermint.
Makes 4 servings
