16.25 mile run on Sunday. I was supposed to do 18 so for the first time ever I had to cut a long run short.

I need to go run tonight but my job is honestly sucking my will to do anything at all besides sleep. I swear the number of miles I've put in for this marathon is pathetic. I wouldn't run it at all if I wern't already signed up for it.

1 1/2 hours of BJJ today. Rolled a little bit for warm-up, then various floor excercises around the mat, like wheelbarrels, piggy backs, and firemans carry, typo things. Then techniques, and rolling for 5 minutes. Thats all for today. :)

Exercise class yesterday and today + a 3 mile run today. I just got a new pair of running shoes :)

Awww...Captain  I'm sorry your run didn't go well. I could only go 12 on a 14 day once...it was very discouraging. I'm sorry your job is so hard on you, sounds like you need to find a way to energize and motivate yourself, but first maybe you need to take a little rest. The marathon is still a month away. I'll pm you soon.

Way to go kat!

Funk, great work!

christy, awesome!

cyk, nice to see ya...great hamsering!

BJJ yet again. 20 Leap frogs over and under someone, 15 pushups around in a circle holding push up position, guard drills. Then rolling.

I'm a little bummed because I'm supposed to be testing this saturday, but I just got caught in a choke today by a lower belt. :( I can't let that happen agaiiiin! Jiu-jitsu is great. I love it. :)

Ah! My life is crazy and I haven't been able to post, but I have been hamstering...

Sun: 5K with a mile warmup and cooldown
Mon: 5 mile run
Tues: 2 mile run, 20 min weights
Weds: 10 mile run (under 80 min!)
Thurs: 6 mile run
Fri: 3 mile run w/ some intervals thrown in

The 5K went great! Despite dancing for 3 hours the night before and getting under 6 hours of sleep, I ran a 20:26, which is my best time ever including the 2 years I ran in high school, so it was quite exciting. The weather was great too, so that helped. I even got a $20 gift certificate for winning out of the girls (it was a small race!), so that was cool too. I think that I am going to race again tomorrow morning.

Whee! I'm finally back :) Cross country season's over, and now that I'm not being forced to run, I actually feel like going out there and putting in miles :) So today I did a four-mile run, and I'll do six tomorrow.

Go hamsters!!! :bobo:

Day off today. Well, I did take the kids to the art museum in Milwaukee http://www.mam.org/thebuilding/photo_gallery.htm, so I got lots of walking in..fun day :) Tomorrow I'm going up north so I'll probably get some hiking in, I have a 12 mile run to do on Sunday but it's supposed to snow up there!!!
So I might wait till we get back and do the run on Mon., we'll see.

ND!!!!! Holy smoke! You're fast! Congrats on the 5 K. 20:26 is a great time! Under 80 min for 10 miles...awesome! If you run the marathon at that pace I think you could qualify for the Boston. Hehehehe....I was all proud of myself last week for running 10 miles just under 100 mins. well, for me it's great.
Awesome ND! Way to go!

roqeja, Glad you're feeling better!

cyk, good luck on the test! Just stay focused, you'll do great.

annabanana, funny how that works isn't it. Great to see ya! :nana:
