Here is where I learned about Frugal Living:
http://frugalliving.about.com

All my previous posts there can be searched for under my User name there: rvijay07

Personally, I find all my previous posts and the responses there a great refresher/revision even for me. The reason being there is just so much to learn and reminders help. I am still a member there and participate in that forum.

Pat Veretto the guide there is an amazing person with a deep commitment to frugality. Her regular articles there are very interesting, informative and thought provoking. While at that site start with
the Vinegar, Baking Soda pages and then progress slowly.

Last but not least, don't forget the 80:20 rule in regards to learning/applying frugality. It is so easy to get side tracked.

Cheers for the "About site" link to the frugal forum over there. Will go see it from time to time. :) I've seen it just now and still exploring it. Has there been much
mention of veganism there over the years or months??.. (however long this particular forum has existed)....About.com itself of course is many years established I imagine.

There is a Vegetarian.about.com However, several in the Frugal Living Forum are meat eaters. I have a Veggie promotion in my signature there. Don't go to any site just to promote an idea. One needs to be a member there for atleast three months first and have some active conversations even while promoting. Otherwise it is no different than spamming.

Since you have not answered directly, is it that are you reluctant to answer "about" (pun) how many vegans I can expect to bump into over there?.... I really would like to know in advance, and yes I will try and respect your advice of not promoting just one idea, in what I understand is a forum open to meat-eaters too and whomever is frugally inclined.

I was clear in my post. There is no doubt. Several in that forum are meat eaters. Very few Vegans.

As a matter of fact, almost all forums are like that. Vegans are a minority.

A clarification is due here though. I like and promote vegetarianism where ever possible. Hencce, if there is a way to promote vegetarianism is a smooth, friendly manner then I am all for it.
