Also I really really need some paracetamol (painkillers) right now but the only ones in the house have a gelatine casing
W00t! Good on you for sticking to your beliefs even when you're in pain.
Kudos to you!

The spinach at the shoppes is shrinking, last week I got a bunch the size of a bouquet of roses and this week it's half that at best. Same price though. It's still a good deal now but if this trend continues they'll be selling individual leaves by Christmas. At 99¢ each that'll be like $100 for a salad! I loves my spinach so I'll keep buying it...I won't be able to buy any Christmas presents, I'll lose my apartment...my friends and family will stage an intervention...

I hate it when customers ask me "Is this regular coffee with the regular coffee label here?" If you see that it says regular coffee on it then it is obviously regular coffee!

I hate seeing animals in the 'free' section of craigslist.
2 hampsters are being given away because "daughter has lost interest in them" .... way to parent your children there, asshat. I wish I could take all of these poor animals home with me, at least so I can foster them and find them good homes.

Having vacation time at work but being so busy, that even if I take a day off I end up having to work late to catch up....so I end up not wanting to take time off....

But just because they're in the free section, that doesn't mean they're not loved. I may have to find a home for my pets when I move. I wouldn't sell them, I would just find a loving home and someone who would take care of them as much as I did. I really don't want to give up my pets, but most places don't allow a large dog, 3 chinchillas and a rabbit. :(

My elbow started hurting on Thursday for absolutely no apparent reason. It still hurts today (Saturday). And it hurts a lot. And I missed my favorite yoga class this morning because of it. I hate my elbow :notvegan:

Four freakin' grocery stores in my area and NOT ONE had any Soy Delicious or Purely Decadent non dairy ice cream except plain vanilla or chocolate. Where's the mocha fudge or mocha almond fudge???? What is wrong with these people!!!!!!!!! Now I have to drive to Stop and Shop tomorrow....it's out of my way but I guess I'll suck it up if I want my Soy Delicious.

Karen - That's awful! An omni would think you're crazy, but we understand! I'll go way out of my way for delicious food. My fav store is Henry's and in no traffic, it's a 25-30 min drive each way. I'll do it though :)

My spam filter missed an email that said "we are looking for representatives in the Canada". They also said that I'd get to keep 5% of every transaction, and as an example "if the transaction is for $30,000 you would keep $3,000..."
I must admit that's a very generous 5%. It must be because I'm from the Canada.

It annoys me when people say, "Call me at 7. It's 5 now and I'm making dinner," so you call at 7. Then the person says, "Oh, I forgot about this thing I'm on the way out the door to go to. I'll call you at 8." 8 comes and goes. At 8:30, you call again. Someone else answers the phone and says that person isn't back from their thing yet.

I have a similar experience when I have to call the receptionists/schedulers down on the first floor. I talk to one person about a problem I'm having; she takes the information and says she'll get back to me on it b/c she's busy. I then wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. After waiting for what seems like hours, I finally call back, and I'm told that she's left for the day. :grr:
Or: I'm told that she's gone to lunch. So I wait a full 1/2 an hour (which is all we get for lunch where I work) and then call back, and she's either not back from lunch yet or she can't talk to me because she's busy. So I have to wait some more.

What bothers me is that people always seem to call at either 7AM (while I am sleeping) or 7PM (while I am eating supper).

What is the friggin’ point of having, and giving out, multiple phone numbers so you can be reached no matter what, and then not be available at ANY of them? :brood: I tried calling somebody while I was at work today, several times, and he didn’t answer either his home phone OR his cellphone. I COULD leave a message, but I’ve done that before, and he usually doesn’t bother to call back. (Maybe he's ducking me). :whack: Since I have dial-up on my home computer (a situation I plan to change, I swear), I tie up my home phone line when I’m on the internet, so when I dial in, I ALWAYS have my cellphone handy and it’s ALWAYS turned on in case somebody needs to reach me. If I’m in a situation where I have to turn off my cellphone, I just switch it to vibrate, so I’ll still know if somebody is calling me. Why can’t other people be as considerate and accessible? What is the point of having multiple telephones and multiple phone numbers otherwise?

My boyfriend is lecturing me because he said he did me a favor by calling, without consulting me first, about maybe getting me a job somewhere. Since I didn't go and try to get an interview in less than 15 hours from that time, he feels like he has the right to put me down and lecture me. I said I'd do it tomorrow because I'm not feeling good, but he keeps going on and on about how I did nothing today (he seemed to forgot that I babysat for 3 hours and cleaned for 3 hours straight before he got here).
