Don't care about Preseason, but I can't believe the Chiefs home opener is against the Bengals. :stinkeye: If Chad Johnson pulls his stuff if we lose, I will be...:wall:

But otherwise he makes me laugh my butt off.

I got stuck in the scary part of Detroit, Michigan.

I hate it when somebody creates a thread which gets a lot of responses, and that person never returns to the thread. :brood:

For the love of vegitus, PLEASE either drive or talk on the cell phone but don't try to do both. It's very annoying trying to drive behind you while you're doing 40... 50... 45... 60... 55... 45... 40... 65... 60 and weaving all over the place like a common drunk.

I would have passed you up, but the traffic in the other lane, combined with your very dangerious line-dancing kept me from it. :furious:

When you create a thread hoping to get a lot of responses, you keep checking, and....nothing

When your employer tells you you're getting a raise, and for two paychecks, you don't see any increase. :brood: Then, when you ask the HR manager about it, she says she didn't get any paperwork on it. And your boss is on vacation.

On the plus side, the HR manager said once she does get the paperwork, my raise will be retroactive.

I spent a month wandering around Oakland (not CA) trying to get businesses to contract with my fraternity for a fundraiser. I met and spoke with 15+ managers in the area.

No one will give me a "yes" or a "no." I'd rather they say "we want nothing to do with your college crap" instead of leaving me hanging.

If I take my dog to you to have her nails clipped, please clip ALL the nails she has, and not just the ones that YOU want to do. :stinkeye:

That is all.

I'm so sick of acting like a counsillor or something all the time. Listening to my friend's problems ALL the time and being unbiased to the best of my ability when really I just want to say exactly how stupid I think it all is. meanwhile I'm never asked how I am doing, and if I try and bring it up to actually talk about me, it's like I'm talking to a wall. I'm so sick of it, holding all my thoughts inside when what I really want to do is just scream. Hope this isn't too earth-shattering for this thread, just didn't think a brand new thread would be really worth it.

Also, I hate that my bean salad made me fart all day. Usually I am okay, but man, I think I need some beano or whatever it is called! lol :p

Today was a very hot day. :sunny: I went to the beach and applied my sunscreen somewhat unevenly. Now I have sun-burned splotches on my torso. I look like a red-and-white cow.

One of my cable boxes just failed so now I'll have to call for a replacement. I soooooo can't WAIT to see what fun evolves from THAT call. :brood:

The thought of losing weight scares the #@$ out of me even though I really need to lop some girthage off me. I've tried to work up nerve to join one of the weighloss threads here but dang, I just can't bring myself to it (PLEASE wear sunglasses when gazing upon the large yellow streak that runs upon my backside).

I'M NOT USED TO IT BEING THIS BLOODY FRIKKING HOT OUTSIDE!!!!!! My cat is camped under the bed cause it's the coolest place in the house and I'm tempted to join her..... IF I can get the dog AND the husband out of the way first.

And my mother's phone keeps breaking up RIGHT when she's telling me about her latest chemo treatments and what the doc has said about her progress so far (her cell phone isn't that much better in case you're wondering). ARGH!!!111!!!11!111!1

today, you can just call me 4Ever Full of Jolly Pickin' Sunshine.... :brood:

Every so often I'll hear the phone ring LOUDLY in an adjacent apt. It will ring, and ring, and ring, and ring, and ring, and ring... I want to run outside and scream "Leave a !@#$% message already!" :brood:

I hate that, during the day when I don't have access to my computer, I think of all these little things to put in the 'gripes' thread, but when it actually comes time to do it, I can't remember what I was griping about....

I got into an accident with my car, and it is clear that the other person hit me. She wans't wearing a seat belt, I was. She was going 40 mph, me, 4 mph.

But because I'm 16 and she's 40, and apperently that means I don't know how to drive, they found me at fault. I'm like, HELLO, THE IMPACT WAS HER FRONT END WITH MY SIDE!!!

Oh, and Massachusettes has a stupid law where you're at fault if your taking a left hand turn, because it is going over the line. Even if it's the other person that hit you, wasn't paying attention, was riding the curb, and WENT UP ONTO THE STREET WHERE I WAS COMMING FROM! I didn't even make the turn, thats how far over on the inter section she was.........

So I'm pretty pissed with the law right now................
