 She probably just doesn't like micies.
They do have a way of smelling, especially males. Rats smell a lot less.

i hate weeds. and i hate these funky roots that i can't get out of the spot infront of the porch. i don't want weird things cropping up after i've planted flowers and such.
It could be worse - you could have japanese knotweed

How do hundreds of hemlock needles keep finding their way between my foyer rope rug and the traction mat underneath it?

my stupid gripe that most people would hit me for is that I desperately need a summer job and I have been offered TWO good jobs..basically being handed to me if I want them. But they are back in my hometown!! Where I DO NOT want to live...but I haven't found anything here...so I don't know what to do. I wanted to stsay here for the summer...arghhhh...especially since I went ahead and got the 2bdrm apartment when I don't even have a roomie yet so now I gotta go around advertising for one since I can't carry the full rent all summer by myself. But how can I do that if I move home to work. I don't know what to dooooo!! And I am so frustrated! They are BOTH jobs that I would love to have. But if I stay here I'll probably get stuck flipping burgers or some dumbass minimum wage job like that. It's so not fair.

okay [/rant]

I hate Jackson, NJ. yes, the whole town. It sucked the first time around and it's the same the second. I should have known.

We (me and my dad) just had to move everything out of the living room to find the shrew my sister's cat had chased in :brood: At least the poor thing got out alive...

I am sick of moving heavy things up and down the stairs. I am going to live exclusively in places without stairs after this, and I will only buy heavy things if I absolutely need them and there is no lighter substitute.

I have the worst sore throat imaginable. It was bad yesterday, so I went to the health center and got penicillin -- it appears that it is strep throat AGAIN -- so I expected it to clear up a little overnight. No, no, no. Not in the cards. I woke up this morning and cried when I tried to swallow... The big pus bubble that was on my left one is no longer there, and I rather think that it exploded. At least it certainly feels that way. This could end ANY time.

Yuck, sorry to hear that. My husband had it last week and got meds.

the internet betrayed me x2  dear internet, I thought you were my friend.
#1 I cannot find caffeinated rasberry syrup in the UK.
#2 I bought a bra and they sent me the wrong size.

I drove over an hour yesterday to be with my daughter during her 'hair trial' for her wedding in June. I was sitting in an empty chair while the hairdresser started doing her magic, and the owner comes over to me and says, its policy that I can't sit back there and watch. She made me move up front to a bench and wait. I was so upset I had to leave and go outside. When my daughter was done I came inside while she had her makeup done. The owner saw that I was upset and aplogized, saying she didn't know my daughter was a future bride having a trial session and reiterated it was policy. I told her it was ok, since she apologized, but my daughter is going to write them a note saying she thought it was really rude and if it was policy, they should let new customers know in advance and at the very least, have a sign posted saying so. I have been to many salons, some a lot more upscale than the one we were just in, and we were never told that we couldn't have a friend/family member sit and watch while we were getting our hair done. Also, the owner used the excuse that it gets crowded, and I could have accepted that if the station behind where my daughter was getting her hair done wasn't empty the entire time. And it cost my daughter $225 to boot. Very poor customer service in my opinion. That's my gripe for today.

My gripe of the day is when I go to the grocery store with a list and still forget something!!! And then of course I notice when I already start cooking the dish. I need a green pepper.:stinkeye:

Karenlovessnow: I sorry to hear about your bad experience, but this should make you feel better: I always thought you were younger-I was shocked to read you have a daughter getting married! you have such a youthful spirit in your posts, I thought you were no older than 30. it's funny how you assume things about forum people. : )
