Quorn "chicken" Fajitas by Mosquito
Category: Main Dishes - Other

This recipe is suitable for a: vegetarian/vegan diet.


Ingredients:
-----------------------------------------------------
1 bag of Quorn "chicken" chunks, mostly or all the way thawed
1 green bell pepper
1 red or yellow bell pepper
1/2 red onion
1 packet of fajita seasoning
12 flour tortillas
1 tablespoon veg oil


Instructions:
-----------------------------------------------------
Cut vegetables into strips. Heat the veg oil in a fraying pan. Add Quorn and fajita seasoning. Add vegetables. Cook on high until the vegetables are a little soft. Fill warmed tortillas with the mixture and eat.

Really good with sour cream and spanish rice.

I made this for a bunch of omnis and they had no idea it wasn't chicken until I told them.

I know this is a really old post so sorry if I'm violating anything by bumping it, but I was going to post a similar recipe but tried this one and it's AMAZING! It tastes just like chicken fajitas. I made my own fajita and used a yellow onion, but everything else was the same. I'm going to make it for my omni mom who's allergic to chicken :P

Wow, thanks for bumping this. It sounds delicious! Are the Quorn "chicken" chunks just "chicken" cutlets cut up, or are they something special?

I just made one serving and used one chicken cutlet cut into strips.

What do you use in place of the chicken bouillon cube to make the fajita seasoning?

Actually I didn't use anything. I got veg boullion but it was like a paste not powder, so just omit it.
