Ingredients:
-----------------------------------------------------
Dough:
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 tbsp of sugar
1 tbsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 c of margerine
3/4 cup of regular soy milk
Filling:
1/2 cup groupd pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp of cinnamon
Instructions:
-----------------------------------------------------
So add the first 5 ingredients (cutting in butter) and then add the (soy) milk. Mix it all up. Form a soft ball and knead a few times. Roll or pat into a 10 x 15 inch rectangle.
Melt a tablespoon of margerine and then brush it onto the rolled out dough. Then spread the filling mixture all over it, keeping it in from edges about 1/2 an inch. Rolle up from long side, pinch seam to seal.
Cut into slices and then cook them at 400F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned (don't cook too long or the cinnamon/brown sugar mixture burns on the bottom of the pan).
If you want icing then use 3/4 c icing sugar, 4 tsp (soy) milk and a splash of vanilla.
