Category: Sandwiches/Burgers
This recipe is suitable for a: vegetarian/vegan diet.
Ingredients:
-----------------------------------------------------
19 oz can of chick peas drained and rinsed
1/4 teasp of oregano
pepper
3 tablespoons of salsa (hot is best)
really finely chopped tomato(i mean almost minced)
Instructions:
-----------------------------------------------------
in the cusinar using the plastic blade pass the chickpeas through until they as mashed but slightly chunky it should be consistent enough that it sticks
then with a fork mix in the remaining ingredients. (to avoid messing up more dishes do this in the cusinar - unplug it first)
Additional comments:
-----------------------------------------------------
serve onto any type of bread with some lettuce and maybe a slice of tomato. great on whole wheat buns and fantastic on bagels.
this was a modified recipe from Simply Vegan, I didnt have the right ingredients, ad was to lazy to mash the chick peas by hand so i got creative and well i like it better this way!!
