Anyone here a spinning fan? I have been doing this for a while now and have found I really do want to invest in a heart rate monitor. I've been told to get a "dedicated" monitor so that it doesn't interfere with other peoples monitors. However, those run at least $150!! I have however, seen others around $50-$85 that say they have Digital FM signals that prevent interference. I am hoping that I could get one of these and be okay because that is more in my price range....

Not much of a response yet eh? I just bought a HRM, but interference may be an issue. I heard that it's good outside (under power lines), but I didn't read anything about people using it inside. Here's a good web site for opinions:
MBR - HRM Reviews (http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/heart_rate_monitor/)
As a result of looking at that site, I bought a Sports Instruments ECG5 from Bike Nashbar. Originally $150, but because the new line is out, it's now $50. I got a slightly higher end (but now cheap one) because I'm still learning what I need it for and how much I want to use it (for triathlon training). I haven't tried it spinning yet (I got it mostly for running), but I'll find out when it gets colder and I start spinning inside (a month or two). If you are still interested, I'll let you know.
If you don't mind, post what you end up purchasing and how it works for you. Interference may be an issue for me in big races in the future, so I may have to eventually look into something more expensive.
Good luck to you.
