Yesterday was a 7 mile run and today was a 10 mile run and 40 min of yoga.

My legs hate me right now, although the yoga definitely helped!

Have a great week everyone!

Did some walking today...maybe 6 miles. Hit the treadmill 30 mins and eliptical 60 mins. Staying away from the rowing until the trip to the doc for the wrist sprain :(

On the plus side, my sis has decided *not* to take her bike to school with her, so soon I will be cruising on the 2 wheeler again. Yay!

Yay!! After much slothenliness, I'm back...

Saturday I went to the gym and did all weights, ran a mile, and did 30 minutes on the elliptical, and then Monday I did the same. Tonight I danced for 90 minutes. It's been one heck of a lazy summer and a pretty busy first month of school, but I'm ready to get back into my hamstering ways... :hamster:

Of course, tomorrow night is back to school night and I'll be at school all night instead of exercising... figures. *sigh*

I have now got my yellow tags in tae kwon do. Without meaning too I think I have made my friends feel guilty about their lack of exercise. One friend keeps talking about her gym membership and she has taken her kit to work- but not yet made the class.

Another friend is wanting to go to tai chi. Has anyone tried this? I am going to go with her tomorrow to try it out. I doubt I can afford to do both- maybe for a little while I will, but money is pretty tight at the moment. I want to try it, and I doubt she'd go without me. Anyone done it- what should I expect? Do they do belts in it?

Went for a 45 minute walk, used my resistance bands for some strength training, and my body ball for crunches and stretching. :) It's been a while since I've done any strength training, so I just did one set of 10-12 reps of each exercise (I had to figure out how to do them with the bands, so it took a while, too). I will build myself up to doing 3 sets of 10-12 reps.

Cheers! That sounds really fun. I think from what my friend said it will be more about tai chi as a martial art than the healing meditave type. It sounds interesting either way, but not sure if I could stand doing 2 martial arts! What were you doing in China?
